Meta Pixel checker

Check your Meta Pixel without installing anything

Paste your store URL. We open the store in a real browser, view a product, add it to the cart and go to checkout, then show which Meta Pixel events fired, what they carried and what's missing.

3 free checks a day. You'll sign in or create an account first.

What the check looks at

  • PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart and InitiateCheckout: whether each one fires on the page it belongs to.
  • Event parameters: value, currency, content_ids and content_type, which catalog ads and value-based bidding rely on.
  • Duplicates: the same event sent twice, often because an app and theme code both add the pixel.
  • Pixel IDs: more than one pixel on a page, or different IDs on different pages.
  • Conversion events on the wrong page, such as Purchase firing before an order exists.

GA4, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Pinterest, Snapchat and Microsoft Ads are checked in the same run.

Pixel Audit vs Meta Ads Data Advisor (formerly Meta Pixel Helper)

Data Advisor is Meta's own browser extension. It's the right tool when you want to watch events live while you click around. Pixel Audit is for when you want the whole purchase path checked and written up.

Questions

Is this the same as Meta Pixel Helper?
No. Meta Pixel Helper is Meta's browser extension, now renamed Meta Ads Data Advisor. Pixel Audit is a separate tool. The check runs on our servers, so there's nothing to install.
Do you need access to my Meta account or store admin?
No. We open the public store the same way a shopper does. Nothing is installed on your site.
Does it check the Conversions API?
Conversions API events go from your server straight to Meta, so they never pass through the browser and we can't see them directly. If you attach a screenshot or export from Events Manager when you start the check, the report takes it into account.
Which store platforms does it work on?
Any public store a shopper can open in a browser. Fix steps are written for Shopify, WooCommerce, SHOPLINE and Shoplazza, with general steps for other platforms.
What does it cost?
The problem list is free, 3 checks a day. Step-by-step fixes cost $29.00 per store, paid once, and stay open for 30 days.
